Telnet Menu System 107

The “Main Menu” and each submenu include an item marked:

x) Exit

If if any changes are made to the information, the changes are not committed until after

leaving the menu system. The exit item will change to a pair of menu items:

s) Save changes and exit

x) Discard changes and exit

Type s or x as desired, to exit the menu with changes saved or not.

Example: to change the hostname for the unit:

1. At the initial screen, type m to bring up the “Main Menu.”

2. At the Main Menu, type 2 to bring up “Network Configuration.”

3. Type 1 to bring up the Hostname entry. This will display the current hostname (default

is “

cyberasp”).

4. Enter the desired hostname, and press ENTER. This will change the hostname display,

and return to the “Network Configuration” menu.

5. Type s to save the change and exit from the menu. The message “

Changes saved” will

be displayed briefly; then the initial screen will return.

SCSI configuration

This menu is used to set up SCSI and iSCSI connections. Items 1, 2, and 3 are set up as

described in “SCSI HBA Ports” on page 54.

Use this sub-menu to control host access to virtual devices.
